How to create a good article (tips n tricks)
I really love to read and everytime i read a newspaper, magazines, or articles on the internet i always want to go deeper and want to know more about what i read. Then i was wondering how to create a good article so your audience always want to read more about your stories.
So in my opinion a good article requires two things: good content and good technique. Good content is relatively easy to create. Most people don’t realize it, but everyone has interesting things to say. Good technique is harder, it can seem abstract and nuanced, and it’s often the thing that makes or breaks an article. A weak article falls flat. A strong article changes minds, gains followers, carries weight, demands respect. It’s a worthy and valuable pursuit.
And here’s my summary for how to create a good article:
- Find your topic, in this way for a beginner i recommend you to choose a topic that makes you really engage from it, so you will be enjoy during the process to gathering some informations (you can ask to your friends, or someone that is also like the same topic with you). And make sure that you really understand that topic.
- After that research the topic to make sure that your information are true. In this case you can search for some news or use the google scholar to find some paper that can strengthen your opinion from those reliable resources so your information will be accurate and unbiased. Then you can write down for the important things that you can find and also don’t forget for the sources! (book/journal/website references)
- Then you can start writing a draft. Start it with some sentences. Because if you don’t try to start write something then you will never know the result. And some fun fact here is if your article doesn’t start on an interesting note, readers are likely to scroll on. Then the tips is take some time crafting a short intro that will grab your reader’s attention. It could include a question or an interesting fact. Just make sure it introduces your topic.
- Another tips from me is keep your sentences not too long, so the readers wouldn’t get overwhelmed and slowly include some story to take your readers into your article. Also use the spell checking to check any errors so your article will be perfect!
- And the last thing is make sure that your reader getting some informations or learn something from your writing so they might be come back to read again your articles. This can be also a hook to make the audience read your other amazing works.
If you ever find some writer’s block experience, that’s okay because creating something good can take some times. If you find yourself struggling to find the right word or turn of phrase, take a break. Go for watching some movies or get a snack. This will allow your mind to take a break and will likely help you move past the writer’s block and may be you can get some of other ideas and inspirations.
The final and unstated rule of writing a good article is practice. Practice, practice, practice. Because practice makes perfect. Everybody has something interesting to say. You have more to share than you realize. So go create some amazing articles and i wish you happy writing :)
